FUR
HAT MAKING
Friday, June 20th at 2:00 p.m.
This 2-hour
class will give you a chance to make your very own fur
hat. Patterns and everything needed to make a nice hat
will be available, along with lots of help from the
Mahoney’s and their helpers. The only thing you will
need to bring is your own fur. This can be obtained from
tailgaters or any booth that sells fur. Tell those
people what you are going to do with them and most will
give you a good price. It will take one nice coyote, 2
red fox, 1 large coon or 2 medium coon, or 3 to 4
possums (yes, they do make pretty hats.) It does not
have to be top fur and a few holes don’t matter, as we
are going to cut them anyway. Location will be in the
convention program and posted at the FTA table.
BIRD HOUSE PAINTING
On Thursday
June 19th you will be able to create your own
“one of a kind” birdhouse. All supplies, birdhouse,
paint, & brushes, will be provided. Ladies come and join
in the fun and take home your own creation. Kids are
welcome! They will meet in the upstairs classroom. Watch
for signs or ask for directions at the FTA booth.
