Organized in 1974, we are a chapter at the
grassroots level of the parent organization Fur Takers of America. We
are sportsmen working to preserve the art of trapping and the pride of being a trapper. We promote education as a means of preserving our heritage while
protecting our future. Meetings are held in the spring at CAPS building in Chatsworth. In the fall we meet at Janssen's timber located near Onarga, IL. The Spring meeting will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at CAPS building in Chatsworth, IL. Potluck dinner, demos by Steve Beckman and Red Atkins, & a swap meet. Bring those things you'd like to sell or trade.
