SPECIAL EVENTS

**Bear Trap & Skillet Throw Contest**

 All the contestants are paid entries with 70% of the entry fees plus 20% of the Calcutta being returned to the winners plus plaques, other 30% to the FTA.

 5 entries or less pay 1 place----------------------------70% payback

10 entries or less pay 2 places of the 70%-----------1st 60%, 2nd 40%

Over 10 entries pay 3 places of the 70%------------- 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20% 

Entry fee for bear trap setting------------------------------$15.00

Entry fee for skillet throw-----------------------------------$ 5.00 

There will also be a Calcutta where all contestants will be auctioned off to the highest bidder for each contestant.  The person buying the winner shall get 60% of the total bid on all contestants with the other 40% going as follows:  20% to the winner and 20% to the FTA.

**Fur Takers of America   National Trap Setting Contest**

Youngest Trap Setter - Awards given , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Place

          This contest is seeking the youngest trap setter capable of setting a #0 Long Spring foot hold trap within the five ( 5 ) minute time limit . Actual setting time would only become a factor if two contestants were born on the same calendar day of the same year . No birth dates may be changed after the contest begins !

Boys Multi ( 16 & Under ) - Awards given , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Place

Fastest time for setting the following -- #0 LS , #1 LS , #1 Jump , #110 Conibear

Girls Multi ( 16 & Under ) - Awards given , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Place

Fastest time for setting the following -- #0 LS , #1 LS , #1 Jump , #110 Conibear

Men’s Bigelow ( 17 & UP ) - Awards given , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Place

Fastest time for setting the following - #5 , #4 , #3 Bigelow

Women’s Multi ( 17 & UP ) - Awards given , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Place

Fastest time for setting the following - #0 LS , #1 LS , #1.5 Jump , #110 Conibear

Men’s Multi ( 17 & UP ) - Awards given , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Place

Fastest time for setting the following - #0 LS , #1 LS , #1.5 LS , #2 LS , #3 LS , #4 LS , #11 LS ,

#110 Conibear , #220 Conibear , #330 Conibear , #1 CS , #1.5 CS , #1.75 CS , #2 CS , #3 CS ,

Men’s Conibear ( 17 & UP ) - Awards given , 1st , 2nd , 3rd Place

Expert Class ( 60 & UP ) - Only one award given

Fastest Time for setting the following - #0 LS , #1 LS , #1.5 Jump , #110 Conibear

Winner will be determined by the longest toss of the FTA Skillet !

K-9 Foothold Set Proficiency ( 16 & Under )

Each contestant will construct their favorite set for the K-9’s . ( Fox & Coyote )

Sets will be judged by FTA K-9 harvesting experts .

Each contestant will construct their favorite set for the K-9’s . ( Fox & Coyote )
