Affiliation with the FTA
Organizations which are in agreement with the purpose and programs of FTA may, upon written application approved by the Governing Board and accompanied by such affiliation dues as set by the Governing Board, be enrolled as FTA Affiliates. The FTA shall have power to revoke such affiliations when in its sole judgment such revocation is warranted.
Each Affiliate should designate a National Council representative who is your voting member at the National Council meeting that is held during the annual FTA Rendezvous. Your representative will receive important information and should share such information with the rest of your organization. All other correspondence from the national organization will be sent to the president of your association unless otherwise requested.
Affiliates of Fur Takers of America are required to pay a fee. To renew or to become a new Affiliate, you must complete the enclosed form, and pay .10 cents per member or $100; whichever is greater.
There is no individual membership requirement, but we ask that you encourage your members to become members of the national Fur Takers of America organization. All Affiliates shall be for a term of one (1) year and shall be renewable upon application.
